Out On The Water Is Where You're Gonna Find Me
Nothing like a mid-tide paddle to the Aguila River.
Leaving from Caletas Beach, it takes about 35 minutes only to get there with the current.
It's the way back you have to worry about.
Afternoon, high winds a recipe for disaster leading you at a standstill no matter how hard you try to zig zag through the currents.
"Didn't I see that tree an hour ago?!"
However, today I left early morning and the water was like a sheet of glass.
I saw two spotted eagle rays jumping out of the water on my journey and by the time I got to Aguila, the sun was just starting to get hot enought to tan my skin.
Stopped in for an imperial and to visit my friend working bar.
